We've noticed that a very large number of the pages on this wiki are fully protected, as seen on Special:ProtectedPages. As noted on Help:Page protection, this is not something we like seeing - it goes against the core concept of a FANDOM wiki.
While it is reasonable to be concerned about vandalism, that is not a good reason to protect everything - protection should be temporary, and based on active needs. Could you please look into reducing and/or removing protection across many of these pages? Thank you for your time!
It was protected due to a string of vandals who replaced pre-existing images with explicit pornographhic images. Blocking the users IP would cause them to use other IP accounts, and tt became a headache - reverting the damage only for it to be done again.
The only solution was to lock the season 1 pages and cascade the protection, which left the vandals unable to upload new versions of preexisting images with the porn, and I guess they didn't want to go through the hassle of uploading them as new images and posting them on every page. I made the protection "infinite", as I thought if I had made it temporary, the date when the protection would expire would show up on the page history and it would just be a marker for the vandals to return. As infinite, they would know they were cut off from it.
Given that it's been over a year since the infraction, I will loosen the protection. Thank you for reaching out.
Hey there! It's been a short while since the request and we're aware of users eager to start improving these protected pages - would you be able to look at unprotecting more pages soon, or might you want any assistance with that?
Some are semi-protected, others are fully-protected.
While I am working on sifting through these, I did reach out to an active user right now asking to ask me if they needed a specific page unlocked, yet I received no answer. But I'll keep removing the fully protected pages.
I see you reverted edits to Shine's page that claimed his name is spelled "Shyne". How can you be sure of the proper spelling? Knowing this would be really helpful because I do work relating to the show's transcripts, and my manager insists his name is spelled "Shyne".
But the official captions and subtitles for the season 3 episodes spelled it as "Shine". I thought perhaps this was the responsibility of whomever wrote the captions/subtitles, but then in one episode he actually spells his name out loud "S-H-I-N-E".
Lmao mans blocking me on every wikia. GMW shit anyway shows to say why it got cancelled. Man probably spent years sitting on his fatass waiting to get promoted to admin 😂 A job that don't even pay cuz can't even get a real job. Block me on this wikia too! Lmao cuz that's the solution to everything.
Shouldn't you be another wikia talking about how a teenager's bulging muscles and physique looks right about now? if GMW and the wikia is shit, why so butthurt about your block that you go on different wikia's to post on my wall?
